Amber has a little garden on the side of our yard. I didn't really think it was doing much because our weather has been so strange. We've had very little sun. But lo & behold, there are green beans growing out there! This is what we were able to harvest today.

Andrew's Adventures - #4
While I don't have a picture to accompany this post, maybe you all can imagine in your own minds what this must have looked like in my home today!
The girls were outside playing & I assumed Andrew was out there as well. (Mistake #1). I had previously seen him running out the door in nothing but a diaper (in 60 degree weather) so I figured he was still out there. I was busy running around the house picking things up & cleaning a few areas up. I was pretty distracted & the house was quiet (mistake #2 - not checking up to make sure all THREE of the kids were outside) so I was accomplishing a lot.
Then I walked obliviously into the laundry room which also doubles as a 4th bedroom (it's a large room that the washer/dryer just happens to be in). I was expected to be greeted by the warmth of fresh, clean laundry. But to my horror, there was water dripping from the ceiling in about 5 places! I promptly freaked out & ran upstairs to see the source of the leak. As I'm running upstairs, I pass Andrew who says, "Mommy!" (in his whiny, "I've just done something wrong voice"). This is the same voice he calls me in when he's peed in his underwear. So I know this is the culprit.
When I get into our master bathroom, the source of the leak, there is water completely covering the floor & toilet is full to the brim with shreds of toilet paper. Gross! After mopping up the water & trying fruitlessly to unclog the toilet, I just had to laugh.
Your first instinct as a mother is to get frustrated & upset. But I realize it was my lack of supervision that inspired this activity on Andrew's part. And I know these days will quickly be over & there will be other problems not so easily cleaned up! I just know Andrew's fascination with toilets & water will pay off one day. Who knows what career he will end up with. Maybe a plumber? Maybe one of those "scientists" that flushes stuff down the purpose to see how much certain toilets can accommodate before clogging? Maybe an olympic swimmer? Who knows! But the Lord has certainly blessed me with wonderful children.

Easter Sunday
Here are just a few pics from the kids opening their easter baskets. Notice Andrew had a Christmas bag to house his easter gifts! Poor thing....
